Summer Reading List

It’s summer! Which means a lot of reading on the beach, on my deck, and on my lunch break (meh).

My list so far:


Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn  (finished – THAT TWIST)


The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (finished/cried-through, and now I want to read everything else he’s written)


The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan (such an incredible talent)


The Picture of Dorian Gray (currently reading – the vocabulary is OUTRAGEOUS)

This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper (finished – Tina Fey’s in the soon-to-be movie)


Friendship by Emily Gould (it’s been getting a lot of buzz)


20 Under 40: Stories from The New Yorker edited by Deborah Treisman (motivation)


Allegiant by Veronica Roth (tore through the first book)

Everything I Never Told You - Celeste Ng

Over Easy by Mimi Pond (reawakening my love for graphic novels)


Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King (it’s raining blood?)


The Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons by Sam Kean (science isn’t my forte, but King Henri II of France is in here)


The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (should’ve already read this)


Off Course by Michelle Huneven (crazy Ph.D. student!)
